Mom and I were there to watch, of course, and Dad made us super proud by coming in 2nd! He even got a medal and some prizes!
Here are some pictures:

Here's Dad riding in the race. He is wearing the blue helmet and kit.

Looking fast!

Cool huh?

So Sophisticated

Hi! Everyone! Jemima Jones Beck here.
The other day someone said to Mom "Gee Rachele, that blog of yours is so sophisticated what with all the talk about killing toys and phallic icicles. I guess that you're really putting that BA to good use there, huh?".
Bitch needs to step back if she doesn't like un-sophisticated blogging because, the sophistacation? It's about to hit a whole new level.

Eye Boogers.

We've all got them. Where do they come from? What are they? And WHY are they here?
Mom seems to think that they are nasty alien Klingons (get it? Klingons, not cling-ons., Oh hahaha the whittyness and sophistication never end) sent to earth to make her want to vomit. While I think that they are delicious treats sent to me by the "snacks located right on your friends face" god.
Any thoughts?

The Boulder Roubaix

Hi! Everyone! Jemima Jones Beck here. Last weekend Dad rode his bicycle in a race called the Boulder Roubaix. It is based on a really famous cycling race in France called the Paris Roubaix. The Paris Roubaix is supposed to be a really hard race because part of the course is on cobble stone streets. The Boulder Roubaix is raced on some pavement and some loose dirt roads, so it was pretty hard, too. It was especially hard for me to watch becaus there were some evil horseys in the pasture next to the course, so I felt like I had to keep one eye on them at all times, lest they go on a horsey rampage and trample Dad on his bike...

Here's a picture of Dad racing. He is the third man back wearing the green and blue kit.

And here come the evil horseys. Every time that the cyclists rode by the horses got all riled up and ran along with them. It was horrifying, but I am sure that I could have fended them off had they decided to smoosh Dad.

Mom thought that they were pretty. To that I say "pshaw! get you're head on straight woman"!

And here is Dad fininshing the race. He seemed very relieved to be done with this race. Probably because of the horseys.

Whoosh!

Whoosh!
Whoa! Did you all hear that?
That was the sound of a whole week flying by with out a single post by Mom and me!
So sorry everyone. I am sure that you felt deprived by the lack of adorable pictures of yours truly.
We will do better this week. We promise!

I Just Can't Help it, I'm a Murderer.

It all started out so innocently...
Sheepy 4 and I were just laying on the bed, cuddling and the next thing that I knew...

Sheepy 4 was DEAD! He had a huge hole ripped in his back and his guts and squeaker were laying in pieces all over the bed!
I'm so sorry Sheepy 4! I don't seem to be able to help myself, I'm a murderer!
Mom says no more Sheepys because the carnage is making her sick to her stomach, so at least there will be no more deaths due to my lack of self control.
Goodbye Sheepy 4 - I'm so sorry!

Have You Met My New Friend, Sheepy 4?

Hi! Everyone! Jemima Jones Beck here.
Have you all met my new friend, Sheepy 4? Dad presented him to me after the untimely death of Sheepy 3 a few days ago.
Sheepy 3 and I had a pretty serious disagreement during which I ripped his face off and ate his fluff.
Sorry, Sheepy 3! Say Hello! to all of my other toys in stuffed dog toy heaven!
Hopefully, Sheepy 4 will be more friendly then Sheepy 3 - he does seem to have a very charming little smile on his face - doesn't he?
Love,

Happy Easter!

Hi! Everyone! Look at what I found laying around all over the house this morning - Easter Eggs!
I guess that the Easter Bunny came to visit, and since I didn't find any bunny entrails flung about amongst the eggs, I have to suppose that she escaped our three cats unharmed which, as Martha Stewart would say, is a good thing.
Happy Easter!

Have You Met My Friend, Sheepy 3?

Hi! Everyone! Jemima Jones Beck here.
Have you all met my new friend, Sheepy 3 yet?
Mom bought me Sheepy 3 after I was forced to say a tearful goodbye to pink loofa dog a few months ago.
So far, I have tried very hard to live up to my promise to dear departed pink loofa dog to be gentle with my playmates. I haven't even ripped off Sheepy 3's little feet, or partaken of his delicious fluff!
Never the less, my reputation as a soft fluffy thing killer seems to have proceeded me...

You can see from this second picture that Sheepy 3 has some hesitations about playing with me, and as soon as I put him down he usually trys to run away from me.
It makes me so sad that Sheepy 3 is concerned for his safety. I want nothing more than to be friends with him forever!
Love,
Jemima Jones Beck
