Happy Birthday to Me!

Hi! Everyone!
Guess what? Today is my 6th birthday! That means that in human years I am 42 years old!
Now, don't be fooled by the gray on my chin and the age on my ID - I am still one spunky pug! And I am still excited...to be a pug!
This month also marks the 5th Blogaversary of my blog!
That's right folks, I started my blog five years ago this month after Mom, Dad the kitties and I had all moved to Oregon as a way to keep in touch with family back here in Colorado.
Since then lots has happened in our lives and you all, our online family, has been here for all of it.
To celebrate my birthday and our blogaversary, Mom and I want to do a little giveaway. If you are interested in being in the drawing for some stuff simply leave a comment on this post!

Oh My God!

Oh my God!
My life is so boring! I have nothing to blog about!
This horrible thought made me sit straight up from the middle of a nap the other day and wonder "what can I do to make life more exciting?". Peeing on things, chewing on stuff, and disobeying Mom and Dad all seem like bad ideas because I get in trouble for doing them, but at least it would be some excitement. Hmmm....what to do, what to do?
I know! Maybe my upcoming birthday will help!
Yes, I bet that that will!

Happy Birthday Wellington!

Hi! Everyone!
Jemima Jones Beck here to say Happy Birthday to my big brother Wellington!
Wellington is turning 8 today!
So far, he has celebrated by smacking me (with claws extended) as I walked by him on the bed, and by hogging the food dish (even more than normal).
I thought that I would celebrate by publishing Wellington's favorite old picture of me, and, of course, a charming picture of the man himself.
Happy Birthday Wellington! I love you even though you claw me, and steal my toys, and eat my food, and shove me off of Mom's lap, and all that other stuff that you do!
Love,
Jemima Jones Beck

Yes!

Yes! It's officially the weekend!
Now I can finally take a break from my tough blanket snuggling duties to snuggle other things like Mom and Dad and maybe that horrible octopus.
Actually, maybe I will do something else to that octopus, like dominate it! Yes...
LEARN YOUR PLACE DEVIL OCTOPUS!

Do You See How They Treat Me?

Hi! Everyone! Jemima Jones Beck coming at you with some disturbing photographic evidence of just how horribly Mom and Dad treat me.
As you can see, they bought me a new stuffed octopus for Christmas and then...they let it ride me!
The audacity! The horror! The humiliation! I will never get over it, nope, never. Not as long as I live!
Ooo! Is that a treat? Is it for me? Can I have it?! Thanks Mom! I totally forgive you!

Blossoms of Light, Denver Botanic Gardens

Hi! Everyone! Jemima Jones Beck here.
On Christmas night Mom and Dad ditched me and went to the Denver Botanic Gardens Blossoms of Light.
It looks like it was really pretty and exciting; not like I would know since Mom and Dad DITCHED me but...I suppose that it is OK that they left me at home since I AM colorblind.
After Blossoms of Light, Mom and Dad went out for super yummy Indian Food at Little India.
Mom wanted to bring me home her left over Chicken Vindaloo, but Dad said that he didn't want to deal with a pug explosion after I ate it. I'm not sure what he meant by that...Oh well.
