Hi! Everyone! Jemima Jones Beck here wishing you a Happy Monday!
I try to remain positive at the beginning of each work week ...not let the "it's Monday Bah-humbug" blues get me down. Hopefully I can maintain that attitude longer than 10:00am Monday morning, this week ;)
I am excited for this upcoming weekend because Mom and Dad are throwing their housewarming party! Yay! Lots of people for me to meet, and lots of food for me to snatch off plates! Yum!

Hi! Everyone! Thank you to everyone who commented with diet support for Mom.
She thinks it really helped...at her first weigh in (after only two days on the program) Mom has already lost 2.75lbs! Yay!
Now that Mom is all dieting and stuff, I am not getting anywhere nearly as many "bacon nutrients" as I need. Its making me seriously tired! Off to bed!

Let's All Wish Mom Luck

Hi! Everyone, Jemima Jones Beck here asking everyone in bloggyland to wish Mom luck. On Wednesday she starts a 60 week weight loss plan that will (hopefully) change her life, and make it longer, too. Her weight loss plan is super restrictive and Mom is a little bit nervous that she just won't be able to hack it. Personally, I will miss eating the left over bacon grease that Mom always gives me after "fancy" Sunday morning breakfast, buuuuut, I really want Mom to be happy and healthy. Happy Blogaversary

Hi! Everyone! Jemima Jones Beck here saying "Happy Blogaversary to Me!". That's right, yesterday was the 6th anniversary of Mom and I starting this blog. Wow, thats a long time ago! I was not even a year old when we started writing...we were living in Oregon and both Mom and Dad were looking for work. Things sure have changed. Mom has been considering shutting down this blog for a few years now. Mostly because there are only so many things that a pug (or a woman writing from the perspective of a pug) can really say; only so many times that one person can post about snuggling before the word "snuggling" itself becomes horrible. Also because it sort of seems like pug/dog blogs themselves have run their course. Most of our bloggy friends don't write anymore. Obviously, we haven't stopped writing yet. Mom has decided to commit to another year...but it may be our last, we'll just have to see. Love, Jemima Jones Beck

Happy New Year!

Hi! All,
Jemima Jones Beck wishing everyone a Happy New Year!
I got super wild last night and stayed up until almost 11:00pm! Imagine! Today I am really tired and I keep trying to nap on the couch but Mom keeps wanting to sit with me a knit.
Damn it Mom, let a pug get some rest!
Anyways, I hope that everyone had a wonderful and safe holiday and that the new year is already treating you right!
